Hi Romain,

There is no implementation of NOX::Tpetra because there doesn't need to be one.  NOX does work with Tpetra - there's just an extra layer of abstraction. The Thyra package was developed to be the abstraction layer for Trilinos that nonlinear analysis tools would be built on.  There is a NOX::Thyra interface and the Thyra package has adapters for both Epetra and Tpetra.  We routinely solve problems with NOX using Tpetra objects.

Now, that being said, we do not have any GPU examples for NOX/Thyra at this time.  There are some issues in the Thyra translation (mainly wrt RTOps) that still need to be worked through for GPUs.  It is an area that needs to be addressed.  We hope to do this over the next year.

I would like to follow up on this questions as it will affect my programming choices.

Basically, my question concerns the interoperability of NOX and TPETRA. Why is there no implementation of NOX::TPETRA?
