Hi Pietro,

It depends what you mean by spectral elements – the term is not very well defined. If you are looking for H^1-conforming elements on quads and hex elements that will give you diagonal mass matrix, then the Intrepid package has such elements in the “HGRAD basis” class set. The basis is the standard nodal basis formed by tensor products of 1D polynomials and the degrees of freedom are at the Gauss-Lobato points.

Please, let us know if this answers your question.

Thanks,

Pavel Bochev

Hi

What facilities does Trilinos have for Spectral Elements? I've tried a google search but with not a great deal of results.

Many thanks

P.
