[Trilinos-Users] Error Building Trilinos 10.6.4

Could I please get some help with the following problem. At about 97%, I get
the following error:

/usr/bin/ld: /usr/local/lib/libexoIIv2c.a(exclos.c.o): relocation
R_X86_64_32 against `.rodata' can not be used when making a shared object;
recompile with -fPIC


How can I fix this?
