Dear Trilinos Users,

There a new online journal called Archive of Numerical Software which is a free, peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to high-quality scholarship related to the development and application of large-scale numerical libraries. As a distinctive feature, submissions require actual computer code along with basic reproducibility to accompany articles. The journal is committed to establishing and maintaining high standards of code usability, documentation, and reproducibility, considering both the code itself as well as accompanying manuscripts.

Submissions are welcome for contributions based on or extending widely-used software libraries (e.g. Trilinos), as well as contributions describing new libraries.

The journal is hosted by the Texas Digital Library and can be found at

http://journals.tdl.org/ans

As an established researcher in the field of numerical software, you are cordially invited to consider a submission to the initial volume. Refer to the above web page for guidelines regarding code and manuscript submission.

NOTES:

a) Trilinos Developers have agreed to help review submissions that use Trilinos software.

b) These submissions can help provide another layer of documentation for how to use Trilinos that can benefit everyone.

Cheers,

-Ross

P.S. Full disclosure: I am on the editorial team for the journal.
