Amir,

Removing cmake depends on your distribution.  You'll need to know what package
manager you are using and look at the documentation for removing packages.

To answer your other question, you need to prepend /nfs/05/uak0251/cmake to your
path so that version of cmake is picked up.  That depends on your
shell (bash, ksh,
csh, et cetera).

You should be able to run that version of cmake (instead of just
cmake) on the command
line with

/nfs/05/uak0251/cmake/cmake

to build Trilinos, as Heidi suggested.
