For some reason, the Snow Leopard platform is the only one we have seen that catches this problem. Somehow, things still linked on other platforms even though libraries are included correctly. This might be the problem in this case also (a lot of development has gone one between Trilinos 10.2 and Trilinos 10.0). Sadly, we don't have any automated testing on this specific platform to catch problems like this but if it makes you feel better, we have a backlog item to add Snow Leopard as a nightly test platform shown at:

I don't appear to have permission to see either of those, but I do appreciate the problem. We face similar issues with FiPy development and we're a *much* smaller project.

> I don't know if the problem you are seeing is this but my guess is that some necessary libraries are not being included in the CMakeLists.txt files like was the case with thyra and Stratimikos with Trilinos 10.0. The developers of Tpetra and FEI most likely need access to a platform like this where they can reproduce the problem and fix it (hence, the bug 4617 above).

If there's anything I can do to help diagnose, please let me know. I wouldn't be able to do it with any NIST machines, but I've got a personal machine that I should be able to provide limited remote access to, if that would help.
