[Trilinos-Users] Alpha release of Trilinos with Cmake

The three-value state is already supported in the QT-basesd GUI for CMake.  We can ask Ktiware to add this to ccmake at some point.

I think we will eventually get support in CMake to allow a three-state variable.  These variables can be "on" or "off", but can also have a third state of "default".

This is on the list of requests for CMake features.

I have a comment on the cmake build system.  Many of the cache variables require the string "on" or "off," but these can be set as BOOL in the cache so that they can be simply toggled.  This makes configuration simpler from the gui or from ccmake since these options appear as check boxes (gui) or are easily toggled (ccmake).

This should be a fairly simple change that would make the configure process slightly less painful.
