[Trilinos-Users] Need help to understand Epetra_CrsMatrix::ReplaceGlobalValues

The documentation says

Returns:
    Integer error code, set to 0 if successful. Note that if a value is 
not already present for the specified location in the matrix, the input 
value will be ignored and a positive warning code will be returned.

Does this mean that no values are set if there were not values already 
present?
