Hi,

I'm trying to build Trilinos 8.0.8 on jacquard using the pathscale compilers, and run into the following error when compiling ML:

Signal: Segmentation fault in Writing WHIRL file phase.
Error: Signal Segmentation fault in phase Writing WHIRL file -- processing aborted
*** Internal stack backtrace:
pathCC INTERNAL ERROR: /usr/common/usg/pathscale/3.2/lib/3.2/gfecc died due to signal 4
pathCC ERROR: core dumped
Please report this problem to <support at pathscale.com>.
Problem report saved as /usr/common/homes/k/klong/.ekopath-bugs/pathCC_error_dHwOCr.ii

This happens a long way into the build (many Trilinos packages have already build successfully). Here's the version information:

 mpicxx --version
PathScale(TM) Compiler Suite: Version 3.2
Built on: 2008-06-16 16:41:38 -0700
Thread model: posix
GNU gcc version 3.3.1 (PathScale 3.2 driver)

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Kevin Long
