Subject: Trilinos Survey On DevOps Pipeline
Hi all,

The Trilinos team is conducting a survey ( Trilinos Survey On DevOps Pipeline<https://snl-survey.sandia.gov/surveys/A96B4212-3BB0-4A7D-855E-A842501D5839?test=true> ) to assess and determine improvements that should be considered for the Trilinos DevOps Pipeline. The DevOps pipeline is the collection of automated processes and tools to build and deploy code, and encompasses everything from version control and commits, configuration, building and testing to deployment of software for production use. We are seeking input from the Trilinos community to understand areas of improvement and possible ramifications of changes under consideration. Please share this survey with others in the Trilinos community that we may have missed.

We have tried to keep the survey as short as possible, but we need input from the community on several topics. All questions are optional, but we would greatly appreciate your input in the general areas of

  1. Trilinos usage,
  2. Satisfaction with the current Trilinos DevOps pipeline, and
  3. Trilinos Internal Structure (e.g., repository and package partitioning).

We understand your time is valuable, but we hope that you can help us improve the Trilinos DevOps Pipeline. The survey will be open until June 12nd, 2023, so don’t wait until the last minute! 😊

On behalf of the Trilinos team,

Thanks, Curt.
