[Trilinos-Announce] C++17 Default in Trilinos Pull Request Testing

After discussion today, it was decided to extend the forecasted PR/MM DST to be Tuesday 11/29 at 8:00AM through Wednesday 11/30 at 8:00AM.

A notification will still be sent out when the maintenance is completed.

Subject: C++17 Default in Trilinos Pull Request Testing

Trilinos Development Community,

Trilinos Pull Request (PR) and Master Merge (MM) testing will be updated to use C++17 on 11/29.

PR and MM testing will be down from 8am – 12pm on 11/29 to perform this maintenance.

After the maintenance period, the following set of PR tests will be enabled with C++17:
Trilinos_PR_gcc-8.3.0
Trilinos_PR_gcc-8.3.0-serial
Trilinos_PR_gcc-8.3.0-debug
Trilinos_PR_intel-2021.3
Trilinos_PR_clang-11.0.1
Trilinos_PR_python3
Trilinos_PR_cuda-11.4.2-uvm-off

MM tests will be switched to all PR tests listed above except Trilinos_PR_python3.

Another notification will be sent out when the maintenance is complete.

Fallback plan: Continue using current set of C++14 builds.
